You will spend the night at our unique and self-sustainable Dolphin Quest Eco-Lodge. This unique paradise is surrounded by an enormous amount of biodiversity due to it being located next to one of the most recent established National Parks, Piedras Blancas. The mix of tranquil water and majestic rainforest, in the middle of the gulf and only accessible by water or a full day of hiking, will give you a wilderness experience like no other. The luxury of our gourmet farm-to-table meals and more than comfortable beds, will give every family member the experience they are seeking.

The property posses trails, waterfalls and a great amounts of wildlife, which is why it’s visited by guests of the National Geographic Expeditions. They come seeking hidden natural wonders and to learn about medicinal plants, sustainable farming and wildlife, all connected in a great balance. Frequently seen on the property are all four species of monkeys, scarlet macaws, parrots, agoutis, toucans, hawks, hummingbirds, great curassows, tanagers, caimans, and a wide variety of insects and reptiles.

Usually the late afternoons are saved for a bit of play time on the soccer field adjacent to the ocean. This can either be a communal pick up soccer game with the staff members, guides, owners and neighbors of the beach or your groups choice of activity such as American football, frisbee, stretching etc. After this play time it’s nice to enjoy the sunset and and ocean swim before a refreshing open air shower using the rainforest spring water and a delicious dinner catering to all dietary restrictions. After dinner you are free to play board games, stargaze on the beach, search for frogs and insects in the ponds near the communal space or retire to your cabin to relax with the sounds of the jungle.

After a good night sleep, you will surely be awaken by the sound of scarlet macaws or howler monkeys in the distance. You will be served a delicious breakfast and get ready for an other kayaking day.
